Hej Hej,
I am Eleni Kosmidou, a poet, an emergent art curator, and a cinema expert.
I travel to explore art galleries, museums, and film festivals and to discover new artists and cinematographers. Sometimes, I use paintings to express myself and not words!
I believe that contemporary art has to be colorful and cinema black & white. I used to translate and teach the Italian language till the moment I received (again) that call and started to train myself in art and entrepreneurship. I read and write a lot, that's why I created ArtGate-Ink.
The only book I read two times is Α Happy Death (1936-38) by Alber Camus.
The movie that I can completely identify with is Dead Man (1995) by Jim Jarmusch. The quote I always keep in mind is “Contrary Action to Fear”.

So who I am...
I studied Italian Language and Literature, and after that, I published a poem collection under the title Αρρυθμίες Ζωής (Life’s Arrhythmia), but I took various courses in filmmaking, contemporary art curating, and a professional master in art gallery management. While continuing to study, write and develop my curatorial approaches, and explore the art and business worlds the idea of ArtGate-Ink was born. As is obvious from its title I decided to use my ink not just to write poems or stories, but to write about art and create a gate to give easier access to modern and contemporary art.
