ArtGate-Ink was founded by Eleni Kosmidou to bridge the gap between complex contemporary art and the curious viewer. What began as an open-access digital journal analyzing galleries, art fairs, biennials, cinema, and European cultural trends has evolved alongside Eleni’s curatorial research and practice.
Today, that extensive field research and institutional analysis serve as the backbone of a full-service commercial platform dedicated to exhibition production, artist growth, and strategic cultural design.

Eleni Kosmidou is a Greek art and film curator based in Como, Italy. With an interdisciplinary background spanning cinema, literature, and visual arts, she holds a BA from the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2020) and a Professional Master's Degree in Cultural Design: “Art, Design and Cultural Enterprises” from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan (2024).
Her curatorial practice engages with contemporary human realities, exploring the intersections of philosophy, environmental and social issues, as well as co-existential questions. Nature, humanity, digital presence, and artificial intelligence are examined through the lens of a new, balanced form of “hybridism.”
Additionally, she is the founder of ArtGate-Ink, a platform dedicated to modern and contemporary art, currently transitioning toward a new model focused on providing curatorial services and cultural project management.
Her curatorial projects include Liquid Reality: New Imaginaries in the Age of the Anthropocene (Turin, Italy, 2021), The Project Room (Trento, Italy, 2024), and ExtraLab (Milan, Italy, 2024).
In my current practice, I examine the human condition amidst environmental and technological changes. Exploring the intersections of nature, humanity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)—meaning the way humans are called to respond to this chaotic stimulus—I revisit and revise the term “hybrid.” I take into account theorists such as Donna Haraway and her research on interconnectedness and blurred boundaries (between human, animal, and machine), extending my inquiry to Theofanis Tassis's theory of digital humanism. Tassis refers to the “iconic society,” a hybrid reality where we exist as “iconic subjects” defined by digital data. To prevent algorithmic enslavement, he proposes a “care of the self” rooted in Aristotelian phronesis (practical wisdom). In contrast to Transhumanism, Digital Humanism prioritizes human ethics and the “art of living,” using technology with wisdom to ensure algorithms serve the human condition rather than redefining it.
In my view, these crossroads can create a dualism that needs a new form of “hybridism” to become viable. This dualism consists of the organic (including humans and nature) and the constructed (including physical and digital interventions), pointing toward a sustainability that goes beyond environmental sustainability—a balanced coexistence through a new form and perception of “hybridism.”
My research progresses further by incorporating concepts such as biophilia, environmental psychology, and organic architecture, highlighting self-referential questions within art and focusing on the dialogue between the artwork and space, treating artistic production itself as an art form. My goal is to translate these thematic inquiries, as well as the artist's practice itself, into spatial experiences, redefining the relationship among the artist, the artwork, the subject matter, and the viewer in both physical and digital space.
A serene life is like art’s procedure: it usually follows an organized sequence.
That said though, man’s reality doesn’t necessarily lead to a serene life. Deviations and irregularities are to be expected. Such asymmetries are hard to express, but they must be expressed nonetheless, since humans participate on them, willingly or not.
Thus, people often need help to find their path towards serenity.
